PROPERTIES

Silver Alloy is a non gamma-2, Zinc free, single spherical composition Silver alloy. It consists of fine and ultra fine particles which give a strikingly smooth and adaptable alloy when amalgamated with Mercury. Alloy / Mercury ratio 1:1 The composition of Silver Alloy avoids the corrosive gamma-2 phase (Sn8 Hg) formed with conventional Silver amalgams.

1 hour compressive strength : 120 MPa 24 hours compressive strength : 380 MPa static creep : 0.18% dimensional change : 0.015% working time : 5 minutes
